EMSOS Travelling Fellowship

The members of EMSOS have agreed to fund a travelling fellowship of 3000 Euros to enable a young (< 35 years old) trainee to visit at least two other European musculo-skeletal oncology centres to gain experience and observe different ways of working. The visits will be expected to be of a minimum of two weeks at each centre and the scholarship is designed to cover travelling and accommodation costs. Preference will be given to applications with clear objectives (e.g. doing a comparative study) and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the next EMSOS meeting and deliver a short presentation on their visit and their observations. The successful candidate will be required to make their own arrangements for any visit with the host organization.

Application for 2023

To apply please send an application letter, accompanied by a CV and a letter of support either from an existing member of EMSOS or the head of department, to confirm that the applicant is a bona fide trainee and can be excused from their unit for the duration of the visit. This should be sent to the EMSOS secretary Andrea Angelini (andrea.angelini@unipd.it) by October 31st 2023.

The executive committee will notify the successful candidate within 4 weeks. New applications are encouraged.
